Hardware support

This release includes some hardware updates and additional support.

Supported NICs

The Vyatta NOS works with a range network interface cards (NICs) that are supported by the Vyatta NOS dataplane for bare-metal installations, PCI-passthrough, or SR-IOV configurations.

Supported SFP and SFP+ transceivers

A VNF platform image that runs on a SuperMicro E300-8D system supports a range of SFP and SFP+ transceivers.
