protocols pim register-suppression-timer <timer>
Specifies the register-suspension time.
The register-suppression time is 60 seconds.
- timer
- The register-suppression time, in seconds. The range is 1 to 65535. The default is 60.

Use this command to specify the register-suppression time. On a designated router (DR), this configuration modifies the register-suppression time. On a Rendezvous Point (RP) router, this configuration modifies the RPkeepalive-period if protocols pim register-kat <timer> is not used.
Use the set form of this command to specify the register-suppression time.
Use the delete form of this command to restore the register-suppression time to 60 seconds.
Use the show form of this command to display the configuration of the register-suppression time.
