NETCONF

NETCONF is a protocol that provides mechanisms for the remote management of network devices.

These mechanisms support a range of operations, such as:

  • Subscribe to notifications
  • Access information on the state of a network device
  • Install, manipulate or delete network device configuration
  • Execute requests through the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) protocol
