NETCONF
NETCONF is a protocol that provides mechanisms for the remote management of network devices.
These mechanisms support a range of operations, such as:
- Subscribe to notifications
- Access information on the state of a network device
- Install, manipulate or delete network device configuration
- Execute requests through the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) protocol
